Student Council

In line with our mission of facilitating active student government to build community, elected student representatives undertake the responsibilities of maintaining a school community where student voice remains the driving force in our teaching and learning.

Our student council meets once per week, learning the necessary skills and knowledge required to coordinate and effectively exercise change in their school. They practice working with others and exhibiting the positive life habits and IB Learner Profile traits to equip them for real-world success.

Elections take place in homerooms during the first two weeks of the academic year. The STUCO teams meet with their teacher supervisors on Mondays at Lunchtime and Friday afternoons, where they organise one team-building activity day per semester, build their calendar, and work on student initiatives like the Green Project.
